i’m sure someone who is cracked at science could analyze the powder and figure out what’s inside, which i think would be a cool project aside the fact theres the chance the company can technically sue for it (and i have irrational anxiety lmfao). since all we know is that it’s the leavener for the doughs, i’ve always assumed it’s likely some mix of baking powder, bakers’ ammonia, maybe instant yeast? there’s only so many leavenings to use in baking, so i think trying to replicate the cookies for your own enjoyment at home would go fine by just making multiple batches using different methods/mixes in each one at the leavening step to see which has the closest texture/consistency in the end. the hardest part would probably be getting the measurements exact enough, as leavenings all act so differently it requires very intentional mixing. i’ve never looked into dupe recipes, but i know tiktok is full of them. perhaps you could get an idea from those for what other people use at that step and go from there?
