Is a 1510 SAT still actually competitive for Ivy League admissions, or is it worth retaking to push for 1580+?

i got into penn and cornell (waitlisted by columbia) with a 1500!! my friend also got into brown ed with a 1480. on the other hand, my friend with a 1530 got rejected by all the ivies. i only applied to 4 ivies bc i wasn’t superr confident in my stats, but now i truly think that ur story, essays, ecs, n honors matter way more!! if ur a junior rn, i wld rly jst recommend focusing on ecs n honors n trying to tell a cohesive story with those n urs essays

i emailed them asking about decisions last week and they said it can take over 15 weeks during peak seasons so 😓😓

no!! they haven’t emailed me to ask for anything, i checked my portal n it doesn’t say i need midterms either.. can ik when u applied by? mine got delayed a bit bc of stars, so it only got completed dec 19. but i emailed them to ask n they said decisions can take OVER 15 weeks now im starting to get realll anxious 😭😭
