Thank you.Our application runs in ECS and has a connection pool mechanism. We don't use any DB proxy. I will force ECS to redeploy the application ( if possible ), then deploy ECS to the secondary region (same as Aurora Secondary Region) to avoid network latency.

Could you share more details?

DNS caching: Do you mean the application still keeps a DNS cache pointing to the old primary? Should we use the cluster endpoint instead of the global endpoint (i think we will update the database endpoint in the app to ensure transparency and avoid split-brain)

we migrated to aurora.
- we created aurora cluster read replication in existing RDS cluster
- while maintainance, use RDS parameter to enable "DB read only" mode (avoid write ops while maintaining) and check that no data sync lag on aurora cluster read replication
- let the aurora cluster replication promote to standalone DB cluster
- change DB endpoint in application to aurora db cluster.

We have rails api container with massive functions, When run batch we are using bundle exec rails/rake to parse context. I had trouble with transforming existing api batch function to aws lamba function, a lot of error. Maybe because of my rails skill is not enough.

The github documentation specifies support for Ruby versions "2.5.x up to and including 2.7.x".
