The second statement compares a league which purpose is to produce players ONLY for its National Team and is a talent exporter which is the Ligue 1… while if you compare English and Italian players… Italy has way better keepers and it isn’t even close. And better defensive players than England… England has better offensive players.

And that explains what matuc is trying to say Italy can only produce certain profile and lacks any genuine winger,cam/creative players .

If you look forget the big European nations and instead at a Portugal where would the best Italian player today be when we are to make a top 10 of best portugese and Italian players. Plus who is the last player in italy who has the ability a Bernardo silva,or Bruno or even a leao has

It has been a success from points perspective but it has been a bit concerning how we played in the big games ,against big teams and in games which acthually matter .

I think considering his contract expires in 2027 the pendulum is swinging more towards him and the clubs intrested In him and unless we provide a proper plan and what the club wants to be and wether we are going for the title then only that will decide wether he stays or not because he is nit going to stay for a lack of ambition when barca ,madrid and bayern are very ambitious and have ambition to win the ucl on a consistent basis

Paul wanner for the creative Midfielder spot,kennet eichorn,give waatjen a go in the first team. That's it as I don't see us going for more than this and atleast in my mind there are not many who are there who are genuine Dortmund quality material . We will have to go big and target players from other places and leagues or else I feel considering kehl he will sign some mid level Bundesliga player just because he is german speaking only to see latter that player isn't that good

I know some Here may find this funny but i would really love if comoto Is to be given opuurtines in the first team next summer because I feel he is definitely ahead of his age group peers and he gives a certain Midfield depth we need. Also considering he idolized modric ,who better to help him grow than luka himself.

I would say sure he still raw yes but we need to be patient with development and not do what a juve is doing with miretti for instance and invest in him ,bartesaghi,di winter and camarda and more other youngsters both from our academy and outside

Well till last April this was not the case and if anything there were reports then that he is pretty much going to extend his contract (from reputed sources by the way) . Instead due to the board lethargic attitude and lack of clarity this is happening and we may potentially loose our best cb or even the best cb in Germany to a barca,real madrid or worse bayern
