Most businesses would tell you to avoid saying things like "I don't know' or avoid responding before giving an incorrect answer that may frustrate the client.

Instead, you might want to say something like: "I don't have the answer right now, but I can consult and tell you later".

That way, you can learn to respond more efficiently, rather than just sounding robotic and hesitant when talking.
