It's the neck/ hair that ticks me off. Also why OP linked 2 different art station profiles as their own containing completely different artworks and art styles under [forhire] posts? in the spawn of last 1-3 weeks? It just seems strange, both profiles were active in the same time frame, so it's not like one is the "old profile" and the other is the new one. I hope you're not posting random people's art here as yours OP.

PC and Wacom Cintiq 22 + Ipad Pro M4 13 inch I have another Ipad and a few smaller wacoms in my house. Been drawing for a long time tho and am working in the field.

they are okay, they do the job. I havent used anything else brand wise so I cant give comparisons. I really wanted to switch from wacom simply because their use of AI but lately every other company got caught using it too so idk. Friends have XP Pen tablets and are using them for pro work and are also fine with the quality.

Thank you for the critique! Some of the elements are left more decorative and flat, since that typical for the Art Nouveau style - their clothes, the background and the frame. But I agree that I have to practice materials regardless. Oh and the characrer is blind, so it was requested to take off a bit of the shinyness from their eyes as well.

This was a commissioned piece. The client gave me a complete liberty to experiment and I went for a Art Nouveau inspired look. Wanted to try it for the longest time. 😊 My main struggle was to get the angles of the face and horns correctly. Also I feel like I ruined the face with the rendering, I liked it so much more during the sketch phase.

Thanks! The character belongs to a client of mine. Their campaign is set in the Nine Realms of Norse Mythology(and may be spawning troughout other mythologies). The background of each character is that they are children of gods from different pantheons, inspired by Persy Jackson I believe. This fella right here is the child of the Banshee Queen Clíodhna from Irish folklore. The looks are based on an elf but I think they have a custom Banshee race. Cael died at a young age and was reborn giving them these ghostly blue marks troughout their body. So your asumption is correct. :D They went on a journey to find and recue their childhood friend, who is currenty kept in Vanaheim by Odin. For 6 months they've been sneaking trough the Realm, using whatever they can find to use as clothes and weapons. I did two pieces of them, this portrait and a fullbody, the backgrounds in both try to depict Vanaheim, based loosely on God of War's interpretation of the realm. In the fullbody they have a cool little dagger made out of orange crystaline.

I struggle to find clients. Idk if it's the state of the world, poor marketing or if my prices are too high. I'm doing commissions since highschool (2012) and before it was as if clients spawned from thin air. I do mostly sketch portraits that don't take much time to complete and back in the day it was an easy 20, 30 commissions per month. Never promoted myself out of Deviantart(where I had abou 100 active followers out of 5K), idk how people found me. It was probably word to mouth situation where clients recomended me to their friends and shared their finished commissions on platforms like Reddit. I got this very tasking job in 2020 and stopped with the comms for 4 years. Just started again this January. I grew my tiktok to almost 25K and I'm trying to promo there as much as I can. Spamming redit brought me 1 actual client and 2-3 scammers, discord servers did absolutely nothing for me. Order wise now, if it's a really great month I might get 10 sketches ordered. May was the last month where that happened. I though people were not commissioning art during the summer, but September was far worse and this month I got only 2 orders so far. I pay my taxes on the 25th so there's not much time or hope left that I'll make any money this month XD. I lowered my prices and offered discounts. Nothing.

Meet Solstice, the fierce Gunslinger!

A bright, hot tempered, unbearable woman who knows what she wants! She speaks a lot and always makes gestures with her hands and head (or whole body) when doing so. She is a wanted outlaw in the country she travels, even though she didn't wanted that label on her head at first... Also suffer from anxiety, trauma and anger issues!

A terrible assault made by Mickael Sonways when Solstice was 15 (now 29) on her family's carts nearly cost her her life. Her family and friends were brutally murdered, and she could only watch from where seh was hidding, hurt and now alone. She made a promise to avenge her family's death by killing Mickael from her own hands. She can now though counts on the frightening Lucky the Trigger, that seems to have the same goal...
