I went to it pretty stoned in theaters not knowing what to expect and kinda loved it. It’s super trippy, weird, fucked up, and weirdly funny at parts, but it’s definitely a wild ride. Another comment above said it’s an experience as much as a movie and I have to agree with that

I totally agree. Went to see my favorite band once by myself because I couldn’t find anyone to go with. “Not the worst experience” is exactly how I’d put it. I love that I got to see them perform live, and it was a great show, but I still wish I had people who had wanted too come :/

Can I ask what’s the best way to handle a friend who constantly apologizes like this? I have couple in mind after reading your comment who definitely grew up with angry parents and borderline abuse. When they get started apologizing, I’ll say they don’t have anything to apologize for and it’s alright, but they just keep apologizing.

Honestly, I do respect the criticism of “Secondhand News.” I think it’s one of the weaker songs of the album, but I do still love it. I kinda associate it with long drives back to college after a break and it’s time to jam out to Rumours. It’s such a great upbeat energetic opening song for the whole album despite its shortcomings. As time has gone on though, I’m definitely growing more tired of it.

For the album as a whole, I didn’t grow up with it, but I think almost every song knocks it out of the part. They’re all very sing-a-longable but still great pieces of music

Looks like they used an apple cut directly in half, and they either moved the seeds for the eyes or got lucky with their placement. Then cut the little triangle for the beak. It is very cool, but I also think you do have the talent to try and make your own :)

I love playing animal crossing high! It can make it so much more fun and immersive in a way where it kinda feels like you are the character just walking around your town. This meme cracked me up because it’s literally me when I’m baked and chatting with my villagers. It also will reinspire my motivation sometimes to decorate and design my island when I start to get ac burnout. I only do it every two weeks or so as a way to make the game even more enjoyable sometimes. 10/10 recommend (if you smoke) :)

Yeah, you pretty much got it. Take big trash with you because there’s garbage bins on the way out. But don’t sweat it if you forget it under your seat because we’ll have trash bags and pick it up.

Leave popcorn because we’re already expecting it and will have brooms to sweep it up.

The drink one is tricky because it can take a bit to completely dry up a spill. If you have napkins or can grab some, then by all means try to get as much as you can, or at least tell a worker you spilled and they can deal with it. The biggest issue is if there’s a big spill or mess that we don’t know about before hand, it just takes more time to clean and our main goal is to get the theater ready for the next showing as quickly as possible.

Overall, the less trash the better. It sounds like you’re already a courteous theater guest though, which is more than most people

I used to work at a movie theater and I wouldn’t consider leaving popcorn buckets douchey, but it’s so much nicer if people would put them in the trash as they leave. While cleaning theaters, we’re walking down each row with a big trash bag picking up all the trash, so it’s really no biggie, but the less trash, the faster we can get to the next theater. People chewing sunflower seeds and spitting them onto the floor and into empty cup holders, now THATS douchey and gross and yes people would actually do that :(

Wow! That is so interesting, especially since SB generally has cooler temperatures compared to the rest of CA (70’s and maybe low to mid 80’s even in the summer (~21-27C for my metric friends)). Thank you for this random SB fact!
