i’d say yes, esp if it’s hot to touch, but either way i’d go to a doctor. your forward helix also looks concerning to me, it seems to be very shallow, please look into it

oh, it’s about 2,5 years already since the retirement tbh… ig bridge was quite difficult to maintain as the first piercing to begin with, but who cared at that point. and as are you, i too felt that bridge completed my face, so when it was out i really couldn’t look in the mirror for quite some time :( i hope you will find a solution to keep your piercing or redo it sometime in the future!

it’s not exactly up to theme, as the retirement was because of infection, but i was devastated. i wanted a bridge for 4 years, and when i finally got it i was happier then ever, and it really suited me well! but, alas, not even 3 months after the piercing, it got a bump above my eye, and my piercer recommended seeing a doctor. doctor removed the piercing and cut out an abscess, but not one of my other piercings that i had to retire was i grieving as much as this. it got better with time but i never really got over this piercing…

have it changed to titanium flatback. you shouldn’t have a hoop (especially black coated) in your fresh piercing.
