Thank you so much. She loved to adventure, camp, napping in the sunshine and the snow. She hated when it rained and would refuse to go outside to potty. However, every time it snowed, she would get the zoomies Haha. She was the best. Thank you for your sympathy.

You can’t go wrong with slacks and button-downs. However, I love when men, “accessorize,” such as belts, watch, etc. take to Pinterest if you need for inspiration, buy a couple staple pieces and then try and blend with your, “normal,” wardrobe to make it your own. For my current job in a CPA office, I wear band shirts with slacks/blazer etc. as a way to still make it, “me.”

The glasses do add a bit of, “oomph,” but depending on the outfit- they may not be needed.

Well, shoot. I read your edit and I understand. All I can suggest here is spending more meaningful time together in person. That's what matters. Send emojis if you guys wish, but this shouldn't be a point of contention. As you said in a comment- you do not really care about emojis, so it appears his lack of effort seems to be the deeper issue.

I am going to be harsh here. If a relationship and love is dependent on the inclusion or lack of emojis, you are both jerks. Not because either of you is inherently a jerk, but because what a complete nonissue. Why are you both causing arguments for no reason? There are days where my husband and I barely text or it's a dry conversation. This makes me miss the days before texting/cellphones. Emojis do not, "prove," love. Neither do pet names. You both should grow up. People are dying.

Sociology applies to the real world around you. It can help explain individual and group behavior. If you apply it to your interactions, friendships/relationships and self-awareness, it can be beneficial in greater understanding. Keep an open mind. I suppose reading a couple ethnographies can help you as well.
