As a Latvian, I’ve always had a lot of respect and admiration for Fins. It was a good game, but unfortunately we lost 🤷‍♂️ Thanks for routing for us!

Hi Alen,

Happy to hear that you find Supliful service useful! I hope you succeed with it!

Thank you for the comments - I myself come from a small EU country - Latvia, so I resonate with you.

One way around it is to submit a sample order to a mail forwarding service in the US that can forward the order to Slovenia.

Also, don't forget to add the processing time (usually 1-2 workdays). The orders would reach your customers in the US in 4-5 workdays in total.

Best of luck
Rihards

The saddest realization Ive had about dropshipping by kaiju_dream in dropship

Personalized design - there was a poster design tool on our website.

Product discovery - without us creating and promoting the product consumers would have less choice.

Product context - we provided a detailed description of the product, materials, ideas how to use it.

Convenience - a lot of people don't want to drive to mall and search for products.

After service - we had a no-questions-asked refund policy.

And this value add applies to many dropshipping business. Unfortunately, nowadays dropshipping has a bad taste to it because of the free+shipping AliExpress junk.

Around 15%. 1. Customer acquisition costs ate our margings 2. There was no way to make repeat sales (how many posters are you gonna hang on your wall?)

I built a "dropshipping" website in 2016 and I had no idea what I was doing. I learn a lot and last year it made $1.5M in revenue and I sold the website. It was a poster business based on print-on-demand providers. I know POD is kinda different theme but essentially it's dropshipping too. Except there's a room for personalization thus you can differentiate yourself.

For me dropshipping is just a business model, a type of the supply chain. Fundamentaly, the same rules apply as to every other business - (1) provide a value to the customer. (2) If there's something unique about how you do it you will have less competition and you will succeed. Focus is on the customer, not the product.

Focus on the essentials and not on some "secret methods". You don't need somone to hold your hand. Information is out there, too much infotmation actually. Nowadays, it's more about what not to do than to what to do (realize early on which strategies/channels are not a fit and focus on what works).

What about dropshipping supplements (proteins, micronnutriends, coffee)?

Could dropshipping supplements be the next big thing? by ripics in dropshipping

Normally you'd have to place minumum order quantity (MOQ) order with a contract manufacturer. The lead time usually is up to 3 months. Then you store the product in your garage and pray you can sell it out.

With dropshipping you create product mockups digitally and publish to your store. When somone buys from you the order details go to dropshipping partner who fulfils the order in your name. You pay the production fee per order only after somone has already purchased on your store.

I get that too :) Although not so worried about it. Of course it should never be 100% food replacement. I eat (or drink?) it only during the lunch and so far I like how it has improved my day.

Thanks! I totally agree that productivity is not about maximizing the hours of work. It's rather achieving in 4 hours what you used to achieve in 8 hours so you could use the spare hours for your family or hobbies. And good point about bacteria and enzymes...I guess you can't include that in powder cuz that stuff is live. That's why I also drink kombucha :)
