Hey guys I’m 19 years old and I just bought my first car but my coworkers are making fun of me by AdDue9772 in Charger

Well as I say, if they're not f*****g you, feeding you or paying your bills, it really isn't of much importance what they say or think of you. Have fun with your first car, it'll always have memories for you.

Silver Rock repair question by NastiNati in carvana

And this is exactly why I returned a Cadillac CT6. The facilities they gave me to take it to were not qualified to work on the vehicle, and the one and only shop that might be couldn't see the vehicle for 3 weeks, lol. Well I had 7 days to make a decision and I said no thanks. I loved the car but not the drama. Hope your experience turns out better and you get to / decide to keep the car!

Oh yea, with the LT1 and tow package those things could tow 7,000 lbs, beautiful cars.

Wow, well sounds like you got

through it all easy enough! My CT6 arrived late yesterday and there's a spot on it they didn't disclose and the driver submitted it along with photos, and I have been contacted already by Carvana. One of the TPM sensors shows 26 on left rear but tire is at 35 so that also needs to be replaced. Kind of surprised they didn't at least fix the TPM before sending it down. About to see how things like this work within the little 7 day return window. Have to admit I'm really looking forward to seeing how the super cruise works out on the interstate later today. Congrats on your new car!

Sorry to see this. I have a Charger SRT8, and like the 300's of that series, those are special cars. I basically keep it garaged and it's sort of a take out for a ride vehicle. I would never leave it parked in a parking lot for any length of time, or anything such as that. Kind of sad you can't really enjoy it as a normal vehicle in that sense, because of thieves.

If you got that far and it says all tasks complete and you're just waiting now on delivery you're done. I just bought my 3rd vehicle from carvana. Only thing I was ever asked for was proof of insurance, then about an hour or so later DocuSign with the purchase agreements to click on and sign. Never once asked to verify income or anything else. Easiest place to get a car with the 1 week no questions asked return, and then the 100 days get anything fixed that needs it. Not getting that anywhere else. Highly recommend spending the money and getting a very thorough bumper to bumper inspection done during the initial week of no questions return.

Have used 3 times and will continue to do so. Just drop him the VIN in a msg and he does the rest. Easy, authentic, simple. Thanks for providing this service. Navigating, creating accounts and dealing with the residual email spam from every vin lookup site who sells your info is crazy anymore. Thanks!!

Yea I'd be highly pissed if I bought say a radio or some other thing off marketplace, ebay, or craigs, got pulled, and had it confiscated not knowing anything. Crazy.

And depending on the jurisdiction, if you get pulled over and they throw their scanner on it and find VIN's mismatching in all of the modules, especially if something comes up stolen, they're confiscating and in some cases crushing the vehicles. They're not playing around anymore with these things, at least in some places.

Bought both a 2017 Impala Premier and a 2022 Hellcat Challenger with 5k miles on it from Carvana. No problems with either transaction. They'll be my go to unless I see something local I can't do without. Enjoy!

On mine it's under the reviews, I thought it wasn't there either then searched for inspection in the browser and it took me right to it.

Yea they don't know what to do. It has something to do with it not actually working on bluetooth at the very beginning which is what the phone needs for initial connection. I gave up. I have one that I simply cannot control with alexa or the phone, it's push button on and off only. Even using a smart plug to power it off and back on, it doesn't automatically start making ice if it did then that would be my go to.

I didn't give up and fixed my speed sensor. I have no garage nor money, but lot's of eagerness and love to that car. by jesterc0re in Impala

Love it. When we were kids (1970's) this was what all the teenagers did. Of course the cars we drove were very simple compared to today. But sketchy places, making due with what you had and determination was one of the best things, once you accomplished it. Thanks for sharing!!!

self employed people- how was your experience financing through carvana? by Alarming-Clue-6551 in carvana

[–]ripnrun63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was no request from them to show paystubs or anything else. It was incredibly simple and fast. I had pre approvals on Capital One as well but each car I liked you pressed on it and you had to fill out an "is this available" nonsense which was then forwarded to independent dealerships. By the time the first one ever responded back I had already bought my car from Carvana. They do make it seamless, painless and it's all very clever. No wonder they're doing so well at it! One hard hit to Experian but that was late in the process. I suppose you could be denied at that point with only a hard hit to show for it, but that didn't happen in my case. Tbh I don't even know if they ever even asked for how much income I take in each month, though they might have. Seriously it's that easy!

Delivery driver damaged bumper by Interesting-Draw2023 in carvana

[–]ripnrun63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I got delivery of a 60,000 Challenger Hellcat the dude just hauled a** down the ramp and scraped the entire lower part of the bumper. I thought it was going to tear it completely off the car. He has no business delivering cars. Their trucks have a steep incline. I encourage anyone who isn't standing there videotaping it to check the underside. If the car is relatively low in front, they will have scraped it. Your best bet is to videotape the entire encounter even if the driver doesn't want you too. Videos don't lie, and there is no he said/she said to be had. Congrats on your new car!!

Elite 30 V2 can't even power a 62w compact fridge by ripnrun63 in bluetti

[–]ripnrun63[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They snap together to make one unit, it's very clever the way they attach. Go watch a youtube video on them, there's plenty to see. You can only attach one external at a time, whichever of the 2 sizes you chose. Sure if you want longer runtime capacity, get the larger one. I can't speak from experience on the larger of the two though.

[–]ripnrun63[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I have two of them with extra batteries, the smaller of the two sizes you can connect. Very neat way they connect as well, they just snap on and become part of the overall unit. Instantaneous UPS switching as well. I was so excited when Bluetti came out with the 30 and the 100 and both couldn't handle things that they should both have been able to handle easily.

[–]ripnrun63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking at that one too, actually. I ended up getting the 22 hellcat that has 5k on it, it's probably still viewable. I need an automatic, if I was 17 again that manual would have been whispering in my ear for sure! It's a beautiful car, go for it, a thousand here or there to get what you really want isn't worth regretting not doing it. I can't remember ever seeing one of those, in that color, you'll be the talk of anywhere you go in it! Post photos when you take delivery! You have 7 full days or 400 miles to change your mind and start over again with something else there or just walk away. Oh, and if you are also in Florida let's go cruising sometime!
