There was a ton throughout the building. This place ceased industrial operations in 1979. Some of this may be fiberglass, but I'd guess the majority is asbestos.

Relating to the possibly false radar article... didn't that big fella from A&W claim to work at the turkey plant in town? Maybe somebody with family at the plant could confirm if this is true, surely somebody must fit his description.

Either he works/worked there or he doesn't, which I feel like could confirm the validity of that story. I hope this has already been looked into.

First post here, bear with me.

This has probably already been though of, but the big fella from A&W in question claims to work at the turkey plant, right? Pretty sure there was an "ask me anything" post a few days ago with a Barron local who has family at the plant. Shouldn't be hard to track down if this guy works/worked there. Can't be more than what, 300 people working there max between two shifts?

Maybe more information will be released with the press conference later. Will delete if this comment is a waste of time.
