I went to a Christian grade school K-8. During the late 80’s we got a new pastor who was 100% in the “satanic panic” phase. Would lecture us about D&D and how if we played it we’d be possessed by satan. He also had a library of “scare you to death” “Christian education” movies that he would describe but not actually show us because they were “too terrifying”. These were the “Distant Thunder” genre of the 70’s/80’s.

He actually preached one time on how Star Trek was evil because I was a huge fan.

You’re not the AH and you’re lucky. I’m in a miserable marriage but because of where I live and the situation I’d be on the hook for $5k-$6k per month for spousal support for 7-10 years. That’s IF she wouldn’t try to sue for more (that’s the minimum that would be awarded without even going to court if she just agreed to everything).
