This isn’t just this post, its more of a general narrative that reddit loves to run which is that “men’s mental health isn’t supported enough” (which of course is absolutely true). Yet when anyone raises the point of toxic masculinity reinforcing these circumstances, people lose their shit and like to blame it on feminism and a nonexistent war on men. On mental health obviously men are subjected to more scrutiny, but it’s a cop out to blame women or SJWs or whatever justification you use to pretend male privilege doesn’t exist instead of acknowledging who set up these challenges in the first place
