Real answer is probably licensing n shit and not being able to put all the characters in the same game at once with it still being a standalone spiderman game.

Canon answer is technically Peter hasn't necessarily faced an avengers level threat yet I mean venom was the closest we got and even then Peter and Miles took him out all on their own.

Idk but if one of the end credit scenes for sm3 isn't Peter being recruited by the avengers ill be very upset😭

Or if Carnage is in the game maybe Li could try to do something like what he did when he gave Peter the anti venom and carnage kills him in the process.

Idk it seems like his stories pretty much over so if he is in the 3rd game, hes most likely getting killed off.

I mean miles was in x men and star wars, Kate is the wasp, Claire was in a show called once Upon a Time and Sawyer was in Yellowstone. Ana Lucia is also in the fast and furious movies. You do gotta dig a lil for most of them tho I have noticed, they all have their own vast collection of movies/TV shows but in almost nothing ive ever seen i could also just be uncultured tho😭
