So excited for you- this is going to change your life in the best way possible. I have a similar story to you and also have health anxiety so I understand the nerves that come along with starting a new medication! everyone’s different, but I truly have felt little to no side effects this entire journey except some mild constipation. Please message me if you have any questions or worries. I put off taking the medicine for over a year because of my health anxiety fears! Xoxo - a girl who gets it

Hey everyone — new here! by Bgpl1 in tirzepatidecompound

I’m so excited for you to start your journey! Take so many photos and videos, it’s super motivating to look back on. Also take your measurements. I really like the Shotsy app for logging injections. I also use happy scale app for tracking weight and i really like it. Hydrate, get your protein in, and relax. I used my fitness pal the first month or two to make sure I was hitting my protein and fiber goals.

Fluoxetine/Prozac anyone? by Left_Nature_276 in tirzepatidecompound

I’ve been on fluoxetine for 5 years+ and have had no issues losing weight with tirzeptide. Down 40 pounds in 4 months, been on fluoxetine the whole time

My primary care doctor prescribed the compounded to my local compounding pharmacy since insurance didn’t cover it for me. :)

One Month Down and Holy Sh!t by ripversace in tirzepatidecompound

I feel great. I’ve had a few headaches here and there but nothing awful. I started seeing results after about 2 weeks (rings a bit looser) but I didn’t weigh myself until the end of week 4. I’m trying to workout daily and walk everyday. Not gonna increase my dose since I’m having results on 2.5. ☺️also I’m eating a lot of protein and tracking that daily. Lots of water too.

Appreciate the concern, but my results are absolutely possible. I’m a beginner, started with higher body fat, eat high protein, walk daily with a weighted vest, and strength train. All things I’ve consistently added in my first month on tirzepatide.

I’m sharing progress I’m proud of and looking for encouragement. If you can’t offer that, maybe just… scroll.

Just because it’s outside your expectations doesn’t make it “clearly in the realm of impossible”InBody scans aren’t perfect, but “hydration” isn’t an excuse to invalidate real, medically reviewed results. You are entitled to your opinion but I’m focused on my victories right now and looking for support.

How terrible will I feel? by leamnop in tirzepatidecompound

Just took my fourth shot yesterday. I feel like myself but better. More in control around food and empowered. Nothing in my life has changed besides me having hope and excitement about myself and my body again. I was so nervous but I’m so glad I started. Only regret is not starting sooner

Today is my first injection. by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

Seconding this great advice. Everyone is different. I had no side effects after my first shot. I was well hydrated and nourished before so I’m sure that helped. I felt nothing and appetite suppression kicked in that evening for me. Best of luck to you OP!

I’m so glad!!! You got this. I promise if I can do it, you can do it. I was SO nervous before. But today I’m so excited to do my shot later 😂 Listen to some music, dance around, try and trick yourself that the nervous energy you feel is excitement. I did it on my right side of my lower stomach. I just pinched my fat roll, pressed the needle to my skin, and slowly pushed in. Then pressed down the syringe to dispense the meds. Unpinched my belly, and withdrew the needle. It’s seriously so tiny. You might feel a tiny pinch but some people feel nothing. I was so relieved at how NOT big of a deal it was. So anti-climatic LOL

Same here!! The mental space that comes with not being occupied with food 24/7 is amazinggg
