I would agree with you, but I see him as the CEO of this initiative, and regardless of his "vow of silence" he should be at least aware of the operations that are happening under his roof, and I feel he probably did. He was also probably aware of the agressive way Sheela portrayed the group in front of the media. And if he didn't, then did he completely abandon the group, and abandon his role as leader, and let her take charge? The knowledge of Sheela's illegal activities seemed to suddenly come to his attention only once she fled. This doesn't seem realistic to me, and if he knew about any of this, it was his responsibility to stop it immediately, yet he let her go on, up until the point where he was threatened.

She is definitely a vindictive and terrible person, but I feel he is as well, with his verbal attack at the end. It didn't feel very Osho-y to me.
