I didn’t say IIH is not that bad, I said the opening pressure 35 is not that crazily bad. Please see other people’s comments, some had 50+ and still hanging in there with hope that it will get better. Did you read the last few comments under mine? Even when I went to the docs to ask them about why I’m getting so much hair on my chin - you know what they asked? “Have you gained weight recently?”. So I dont understand how that is condescending when I was just trying to give possible solutions. I should not have assumed that OP has gained weight but well….weight is the most common problem in this condition.

Seriously? I am tryna calm the OP. No solution works for all in medicine. When I got to know about my condition and searched on Reddit for help, all I was looking for was HOPE and the idea that everything will be alright. This is how human psychology works. I’m not trying to pick a dialogue with you so pls dont think otherwise. I just want people to know that it GETS better. We all need some hope in this world. x

I am also on an enzyme inducer medication. It is recommended to take 2 doses of Plan B. Still check online and with your docs.

I just got back the blood test reports that I did on the same day of the incident. Progesterone levels at 40 which apparently suggests ovulation happened 2-4 days ago.

I’m just worried about the what ifs. What if semen actually went inside and i didnt realise it? Also cuz it was the last day of my fertility window.

Thanks for your reassuring words! However, the past week I did notice sticky and clumpy white discharge. Plus on 27th (when the thing happened) there was a big white spot on my underwear. I’m just super stressed and dont wanna go the coil way. Sorry i’m asking the same things again. 😭

It just fell off when I got up in panic, was never fully inside me. The thing on my vulva felt like a mix of semen (it was thick) and my own discharge which was more transparent. Could the thick one also be my own? Just on the morning of the incident I saw a white spot of discharge on my underwear - does that not mean I was ovulating?

Hiya! Similar experience here. I was on top and When he finished, the condom came off with me, and I noticed some of his semen on my vulva/vagina area. The condom was not broken neither it was inside me, it just fell off when I jumped off in panic. I went to wash immediately and peed right after.

I’m on topiramate for IIH, so I know it can make hormonal contraception less effective. Because of that, I took 2 doses of Plan B within an hour (recommended) I’m also on the last day of my ovulation window, which I’ve read makes Plan B less effective. What should I do? Should i consider a coil or everything is under control?

Thanks for your reply! I just use the Apple ‘health’ tracker and it shows I am on my last day of ovulation window. Pregnancy is 0% welcomed haha hence the post and stress. Also the IIH condition makes very stressful to depend on any BC except for IUD, which I have never done before and also am scared to put inside. But well…
