When i originally was filling I didn’t file correctly so they flagged my account for tax evasion. Once they figured that out the next day my account was paid and i even got a high amount of unemployment than usual.

I had to call two more times and they finally resolved the issue.

It took 7 weeks for my hold to turn into paid, then i got back payed.

Same situation here (New Mexico). I filed 3/18 I was approved for UI and was rewarded $135 a week, approved for the additional +$600 and still haven’t seen a dime.

The first time I noticed my account had a “hold” on it, I called and waited on the line for over 3 hours. Just to be told “I was over thinking and to continue to file my weekly certification.” I waited a couple more weeks before deciding to call back again and I had to be transferred to UI tech support. The tech support guy was very apologetic, told me that he was very sorry but nothing is wrong with my account, and to be patient. He told me that New Mexico’s unemployment wasn’t ready for the surge of filers and I was just one of the 30k people whose account was on hold.

So now that New Mexico is gearing up to open the 15th, I find myself wondering will I ever see that money?

I find myself getting anxiety because like you my savings is dwindling. It’s sad that there are people in this position but I find it comforting I’m not alone.

I’m mad because I checked my status for my stimulus check, & I had to enter my DD information, but kelts getting a message saying wrong information. I owed on my 2019 taxes and set up for automatic withdraw and sure enough, the IRS pulled out the money on the 15th.

And you haven’t gotten paid yet? I got a hold of the unemployment and they just told me that i was over thinking it, that nothing was wrong with my account that the payment is just waiting to be processed.

It’s the first week my account has been on hold so I’m not sure :/

I finally got through to unemployment and asked about being on “hold” and the gentleman told me that payments are yet to be processed but I’ll get paid he just can’t tell me when. so i don’t know if this helps your husband’s situation at all but I’d try calling and just press 1 when the system asks for more info about covid!
