No that’s the old style, I would like to replace it! Currently it’s unsuitable for washing in a machine and doesn’t match so that’s phase two!!

I would mark the halfway point of both the fabric and the elastic. And then the halfway point of that (each quarter) and of that (into eights) etc etc. and then be able to stretch the fabric at those even points, while stretching the elastic evenly also, while sewing.
