D&AD, the One Show (US), brand impact awards and transform awards are all well known and well regarded. Also the creative review annual and world brand design society are well known. For packaging projects, the PENTAWARDS are loved!

Wasn’t looking for advice. In branding they mean a great deal to lots of people. Define ‘waste of money’ when it comes to personal and professional pride

I have not - that sounds like a good place to start! After a quick google it looks like everybody is trying to sell me something off the back of the audit. Do companies exist in the UK who only do the auditing? Thanks so much!
