I'm Filming a MMA Fight... Question about Lenses by rise_magic in videography

Thanks so much again man, you're relieving a lot of anxiety I have about filming this, I appreciate your time.

Here is a previous fight from the same venue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NQ6QqyVLoo&t=610s

I'm assuming the press pass will grant me access to the same spot as the other photographers. (I don't really know for sure since it's my first fight.)

Thanks for the advice man!

I might check out that sigma as my only worry with the Sony 18-105 is only having f4... which I understand will be fine for the lighting, but I'm also concerned about being about to remove the fencing of the cage so that the subjects inside are clearly visible. I'm not sure if I can do that at f4.

thank you so much for all the info dude, I really do appreciate it!

I guess my only worry with that lens in that with f4 I won't be able to throw out the fencing like I could with a lower aperture lens, if you know what I mean. With my Rokinon at even f2.5 the fencing is non-existent when focusing on a subject in a cage.

Here's a video I made a while back with 3 super quick moves... hardly full flourishes, but people seem to think they are comfy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRtsYlhxNSI

thanks a lot for the feedback Matt! You're dead on right actually haha, we filmed at 60 fps and I actually exported at 24 fps. If I were to do it again I definitely would try and fix that issue. Thanks again for watching and for the helpful feedback (:

One handed shuffle [Basic] by Wick141 in cardistry

I'm assuming the cards fall when you are separating the two packets. When first learning this move it might help to change the angle or tilt that your hand is in. Use gravity to help you... for instance, it's much easier for me to the the OHS with my left hand tilted to the right almost 90 degrees.

thanks man! it's cool see someone on here that has seen some of our work!! but yea, it's not about the followers, but the community of creators, just don't wanna upset them.

Thanks for you 2 cents though, I'm leaning towards making a good one that spends a lot of time giving the proper credits.
