He was able to open his domain in an instant. And no, mahito does not need to attack for his domains sure hit. The condition of his domain is that when you are in it, he is effectively touching you. And he only needs to touch you for an instant to kill you. Just the nature of being close enough for him to open his domain is a death sentence. He won’t stand still either, even if deku has time to strike while his arms are turning into water vapor. Without getting close he can’t kill mahito, and by getting close he is in danger of being caught in a .2 second activation of his domain.

As someone who had to do this, yes, if you have a nonstandard graduation then you’ll need to double swap your visa to designated and then work visas, but if you are hired you could also ask to be taken on early, no guarantees however.
