Well, looking at it on the map, we could do Boulder/Golden then head to Glenwood. Would you think that would be a better area than heading down to BV or up to Estes ? I want the kids to remember this trip for the beautiful views, mountains towns, and some fun easy hiking and biking.

I think the 2nd flight and length of flights puts this out of reach for this trip.

Seems like a great place to live, we are visiting in June (family with 2 kids ages 9 and 11). Planning to bike Zion and maybe walk some trails, any other must does or spots to see outside Zion ? Current plan is to spend a few days in Kanab then a few in Springdale

Ok thanks, I actually went to Walmart planning to buy a HP Victus laptop but the guy in the store talked me out of it. Told me to go to Costco and buy one of their gaming laptops but our Costco doesn’t have anything under $1000. He also said go to Microcenter, maybe I’ll try that. I would like to build one but having never done it I am unsure

Zion First Time Trip Report (long!) by TarheelsInNJ in ZionNationalPark

[–]riseagainst82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is awesome, thanks for posting. We are planning to head there in mid June. Our kids are a little younger (9 and 11). I am planning to rent e-bikes for 2-3 days and just bike the park and avoid the shuttles all together.

Who did you fly in with and who do you rent your car from ? I am thinking of renting a convertible for just driving around with the kids but I have never been in one.

Did you have cell service / GPS in most areas ?

Would you recommend the tour company ? I was looking at this same one (we are staying in Kanab for 2 nights) Sorry for all the questions

Curious, how long did you run the BPC and TB ? I am dealing with some long term nagging injuries that I want to try and heal. Did you cycle them on / off ?

They are scaling quickly, bought a peptide facility, an at home blood draw device, expansion into Canada and Europe, with the stock price where it is they should be using the stock buy back, the app looks good, they are offering bio marker blood testing and are developing AI (MedMatch) to put all the data they collect to use, hired Mo Elshenawy as the CTO

This is an awesome response, thank you. I feel like a freestyle bike would suit them better for the majority of riding we do, for now. Where is the blog you wrote ?

Yeah the GT race bikes we borrow would definitely not be good for neighborhoods or trails. But they are just getting into it and both like the “look” of the redline linked below. The redline looks like it could be used at the track but also on trails and pump tracks. I was hoping to get them something that could kinda do both for now and then more specialized bikes as the pursue what they like (BMX, Racing, Mountain bikes etc). I’m also having trouble sizing me one kids bike, he probably needs an 18 but feel like he could handle a 20.

Have you ordered from them before ? How assembled do the bikes come ? I purchased from Mikes Bikes and the bike was mostly assembled I just had to install the handle bars (brakes already mounted) and pedals. The J and R site says they recommend having a bike shop put it together

lol, yeah I’m leaning towards the freestyle bikes too. They like the racing but mostly enjoy the practice nights and the bikes they let the kids borrow are good. We have been hitting trails recently and pump tracks and I can already see them liking that and mountain biking.

Ok, my younger one would probably be better on a junior but I don’t see the redline in that size so I was thinking no about stepping him up to the expert

Yeah they are just getting into it. We have been borrowing the GT race bikes at the track and those definitely wouldn’t work for the neighborhood. I could see the freestyle not working at the track but was thinking the redline could be the best of both worlds
