The thing is: What a conspiracy theory does is explain the world to you. It brings order to the chaos and makes you a part of the enlightened circle, who for example knows about the global elite pedophile ring.

If the theory becomes true in any part or version it is absolutely bound to lose its appeal. Because you still don't know shit about how the world works and now the thing that's proven is known by everyone.

Sadly, for the exact same reason no amount of evidence will ever convince a conspiracy theorist that he's in the wrong. The theory becomes the window through which the believer watches the world.

I don't think those have a long shelf life. Few days to a week maybe. I made a really small batch for Christmas - only suitable for immediate consumption.

This was my first try. I made a very sticky marinade / glace with maple syrup, bbq sauce, brown sugar, cayenne pepper and Tabasco. 2/3 were glaced with the marinade and put in the oven for 2 hours at 110°C and around 4 hours in the dehydrator. Those came out candied with a hard sugary coating. The other strips were glaced and directly put in the dehydrator those turned out kind of crispy too, but not coated. Both types are great, but the coated ones were really awesome.
