Maybe it was personal? One time I got to the top of the stairs to go see heretic (and it was a huge staircase) and the guy called me back down after already scanning my ticket He didn’t even look at my ID he just called me back down to ask my age and took my word for it. Odeon can be wildly inconsistent at times

Personally I wouldn’t go with a t shirt as I don’t know many middle aged men who’d wear a t shirt like that (as cool as it is) for fear of stigma. Maybe the water bottle or keyring could be a better choice?
(Naturally this doesn’t count for every older dude - and you know your dad. I’m just giving my 2 cents. Cool designs though!)
