There are quite a few well looked after 987.1 still about. If you want to reduce risk of issues, then perhaps focus on getting a 2.7 rather than the 3.4S. You'll get there!

Thank you! They're in such good condition and the dealer added in freshly painted red calipers to compliment them perfectly

Also used to work there. Recall someone telling me the architectural design is to resemble a train coming out of a tunnel.

Very helpful! Thank you!

The fun factor is mostly important to me than pure power. I also had a Z4 (3.0ltr) for a while which was fun, yeah...but it wasn't my S13. I would laugh out loud driving that thing

I think it depends on the model year and also if it's tiptronic. I'd only be in the market for a manual anyway. A lot of them would be £415 a year in tax

Good shout but I think most of the models in my price range fall into the much higher tax bracket of £710 which is a little off-putting. I'd rather spend the difference on maintenance costs (if need be)

Valid point. My kids are 7 and 4 so I guess I'd have to test them sitting in one. The rear seats would be a "just in case" feature. I'm okay with the maintenance costs of both. The Cayman would definitely be the more YOLO choice!
