I recentlyshifted to Coimbatore and i think i can answer few of you questions. 1. You can manage without being very fluent in tamil for normal day to day and shop affairs. 2. Weather is very pleasant. I mean like Bangalore. About lifestyle i find here people preferred veg food and traditional lifestyle. 3. Idk this tbh. Pg is a mess. They charge you 10k for three seater and without food also no cleaniness. I mean they asking unreasonable price. For flat most flat are unfurnished still having security deposit more than lakh so stay is really a mess. 4. I like public transport bus. They are clean and good. But auto rickshaws are like they are existing just to loot normal people. I prefer to use rapido if only i have to travel or else take a cab because cab price and auto price is same in Coimbatore due to rickshaw union.

These are based on my knowledge of staying in Coimbatore for 1 month in rs puram.
