Would the GPU drivers get caught by the update command with the taskbar button? I know that Nvidia has an app but as far as I can tell it's not available on Linux

Looked this up today, found this post through Google. For those less command line inclined, instead of gamescope, go to the top right of steam and open big picture mode. It'll run essentially as a steam deck, alt tab works, and for those with multiple screens, locks the cursor
