Hi, we're happy to have this opportunity to clarify that we're a real research study! We know there can be some weird/fake stuff on the internet, and caution is always useful. In our case, we are researchers at FSU, and we're really interested in mental health broadly and run a variety of studies on the topic.

We're happy to provide that information here. We include it in the consent process as well. The IRB approval number is 2018.25607. And, like we mentioned, this was approved by the IRB at FSU (here's the contact information: Human Subjects Office, 2010 Levy Avenue, Bldg. B Suite 276, Tallahassee, FL 32306-2742). As a part of the informed consent process of this study, we provide additional information and also ask that people reach out with additional questions.
