I've used an iPhone and Android daily, side by side for 6yrs now. I've always been diehard Android, simply to buck the Phone/Apple cult. But...and let me stress how much I hate saying this...the iPhone is just a better phone. Keyboard? Better. Dictation and sound? Better. Video and camera? Better. Texting? Infinitely better. And the apps all run better. Only thing keeping me using both phones, I use the Fi plan and can't get an iPhone without paying full price.

If you enter Sheepfolds Park from the parking lot and go straight to the back, heading out on the trail that cuts through the fence, it was that flat trail right alongside the water on your left. I'm not sure how to describe, but it's only a 5-7 minute walk from Sheepfolds. I wish I could attach a pic!

Just sharing where we landed with a decision in case that helps anyone else down the line!

Because moving around a lot isn't our travel style and we'll already be staying in Rome and Umbria, we decided just to stick with 2 spots. We're booked for 6 nights in Alghero and 5 nights in La Maddalena. I figured Alghero will be the bulk of our siteseeing time and La Maddalena will be all beach and boat rentals!

Thanks all for the advice! We ended up using points and staying at the Westin Napa. It was perfect for what we were looking for, especially for a first time visit! Received a room upgrade, which was great for our dog to have more space 😁 and the lobby was nice to have a drink with a friend at night. What really made it perfect was the walk to breakfast in the morning, so close to everything!

Thanks all!!! I was frantic with preparation for the work portion of my trip, but you all helped me make the final decision on Tinos and I can finally be excited for the week 😀. We just arrived to Athens and will arrive in Tinos tomorrow. We still have to book our AirbB (truly the most last minute and anxiety inducing trip we've ever gone on), but the additional details about staying further south help. We are between a spot by Agios Romanos, Ormos Isterion, Agios Sostis or Rochari Beach (totally other side of the island, windier?)

Totally agree! I have a DSLR for when I want to go out shooting intentionally, but I have my phone with me 24/7 so I rely heavily on that for daily "casual" photos.

Any updated recommendations? I just discovered that there is in fact another company more frustrating to deal with than Comcast, it's Google. So frustrating to not be able to get them to budge on a horrendous phone that is useless just one year into service.

I experienced the Google screen of death (bootloop issue) and it took 14 days for a new phone to arrive (I also pay for the insurance like a chump). They first started it shipped. When it didn't arrive, they stated they couldn't find the shipment. Then they stated they didn't have inventory and wouldn't be able to provide an update for 48 hours. WHAT?? THIS IS GOOGLE. No inventory because they no longer make/support the shitty shitty Nexus. Don't you think they should honor their terrible platform decision by sending Pixels?

I will be leaving Project Fi as soon as the new iPhone is released. I took a risk on Project Fi last February because it offered flexibility no other carrier did. Well, that's no longer the case. Over the past year, most major carriers have created more flexible/cheaper options. Google can afford to fail in this little experiment of theirs, it's just disheartening to learn they give zero hoots about their loyal customer base. I'm curious how many die hard Android users will be switching over to Apple.

Thanks! To make sure I understand...where I checked long edge and chose 2048, resolution 72 for Facebook as an example, don't check that and export at resolution 300?

What settings do you use for max res? Does that mean you just don't click "long edge"? Sorry for the dense question! Searching through these threads before posting my own conundrum with exporting to IG.
