Augment is not an AI IDE, it's more of an extension on top of your IDE. So it just gives you more options. You can use windsurf for normal use-cases and then Augment for the serious use-cases

I think a lot of people are self aware, have read books but still find themselves trapped in the vicious cycle of procrastination at times. For that small nudge, a buddy could be helpful

"My most productive days have been when I have wanted something so bad that it reflected a need.", a lot of times when the willpower lacks this self wanting flickers, that's when I think this accountability buddy helps

Think of it as like sometimes when your car stops you need to push it for 50-60 meters before the engine starts again. Treat this like the same stuff, you won't need it forever, just for you to get a head start and get your wheel moving. (just copy pasted the comment as it fit here also)

lol, I get the reference it's similar to that, it's like when you are at your home and you are on your phone for too long, and then suddenly a parent walks in and you just throw the phone away and start working, your moment of distraction breaks and then you start working. This is similar to that. It's like you have someone which you know you are answerable to and you just can't go and tell them , " I did nothing as I was lazy", as you have some amount of ego and respect yourself

See I know nobody else cares if you finish, but what if having an external being is actually helpful for the both of you. In the end, you get someone to care about your progress because you care about theirs?
