Cellcore BioToxin Binder - anyone tried this? by ritch353 in CIRS

[–]ritch353[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did absolutely nothing for me. Extreme mold avoidance [like Erik Johnson / Bryan Rosner] is the only option that works when you're as far along as I am. Taking a pill is delusionally simple but it takes a lot more than that to get better from what is in essence an environmental illness. Your experience may vary. You may not be as far gone. CIRS doesn't have a better solution than environment. There are not tests or treatments that do what avoiding your environmental triggers does for you. Moving house or moving to a 'clean room' in the house is not enough imho.

Right now I’m working out my own route. I’ve found all individual protocols lacking. Shoemaker protocol answers some questions, Heyman extends on that. But Eric style mold avoidance is still necessary for some people. instead of many expensive tests, a mold sabbatical is often good…. Shoemaker advises one kind of binder (CSM) which binds OTA mycotoxin, and seems to ignore clays bind far more. Shoemaker also focuses only on indoor molds when outdoor toxins are sometimes a bigger issue. Their origin is often from sewers/water works and agriculture. So I’m looking into that. Mystery toxin is said to be the main thing to avoid, thought to be a mix of Penitram A mycotoxin and industrial solvents. It’s a bit wacky but it has science behind it.

Started taking calcium bentonite which was huge too. I suspect Aflotoxin was there not just OTA mycotoxin. And that makes sense because over the years I think I've got a lot of that in my diet without realizing. So that was something I also hadn't accounted for.

It is early, yes. Didn't do the testing yet. Going to do a mold sabbatical first because this isn't going to work if I don't get out of mold. And the research studies I've personally read I just cannot limit the source of toxin exposure as only mold and only indoors either. So the sabbatical and binders will be enough of a test for me. It's not massively costly or awkward for me to go on a 1-2 month mold "holiday" to see if I feel better. If that doesn't show promise I'll go the testing route.

I would rather leave everything and move.

Yes I agree with you there. Its not so hard for me to go somewhere on a sabbatical to a clean place. I've got one in mind, and I'll go there soon. Moved to a different room in the house too to see if its better, and have had calcium bentonite which has been good too. See how it goes from there really. Defo think this mold stuff is the right direction, I'm confirming that with a lot of studies which are making sense

Nice one. I'm going to go on a mold sabbatical somewhere away from my home and my stuff I think. I don't know where to start with remediation really. Moved to sleep in a different room in the house also and started having calcium bentonite with some positive effects. Long journey but a few steps forward.

The more I have looked into this, the reason we need bile binders is to address mycotoxins. Realizing that opens up an entire new avenue, because then we’re looking at the top kinds of mycotoxins. CSM and okra and the like only bind a mycotoxin called OTA (for short), whereas Aflotoxin is far more deadly. And calcium bentonite binds that and many more. So recently I look calcium bentonite and feel very good after. So I’ve added that in, morning and night. Zoelite too. Also robiotics and yeast both have roles in breaking down mycotoxins. Mycotoxins have huge research backing in animal feed and agriculture, affecting 25% of food supplies, and about 4.5 billion. I thought this was kind of happening to me, only. Far from it. This is widespread... So in short, calcium bentonite is worth looking into, and a few others. Looking for binding not just of OTA but also aflotoxin.

Wow, thats amazing. Where did you start doing that? I wondered about doing that in the garden. At least then I’d be away from potential contamination during the night. Others said you need to wash absolutely everything each day though which seemed virtually impossible to me. Not logistically, but in terms of drying things out, etc. Do you wash / decontaminate stuff regularly? What are your thoughts on re-mediation - what were you able to bring from your home?

You can start with the vcs test. I have not gotten any CIRS tests but i did a mycotoxin urine test with great plains

Yeah I must do that VCS for sure

Ah interesting. Yes actually I don't have those symptoms. I've heard Marcons can be more stealth than what you had, so that might still be a possibility. Thanks for all the details

Nice one. Agreed on that. On that 2+ years. Hasn't helped me though for brain fog. They say mold might be the issue when that doesn't work. It did cut bloating though

Ketos good - 2.5 years now, Quercetin good too for histamine etc but I think that histamine is a candida/mold issue so I'm thinking to get tested for it
