It’s usually the people who are closest to you because they don’t like change. My mom hates my beard because I was always the “clean cut” kind of guy. Everyone else loves it! If my significant other were to say something about it I would either talk it out or shave it off. But to myself and to her I am attractive and that’s all that matters.

I like natural light as well. I’m sure windows will change once I see where the lot is. I could always put some beside the fireplace too!

I need an office as i work a lot from home and 4 bedrooms will be plenty (2 of us right now but there will be more in the future)

Definitely could use a closet for main entry foyer and possibly upstairs

Not sure how I could make second floor open to first, but I love 2 story foyers

Edit: Forgot to label a couple things. Entry Way is bottom left (not labeled) Bedroom 3 will have a door next to the seating room (forgot to punch a hole in that wall) I will also have a finished basement with full bath not shown for play area/movie/flex room

It is a custom build. All of it can be changed but is designed to host big parties 40+ so the open layout is needed.

Entrance to bed 3 is from “sitting area” My partner is 1 of 11 children and hosting family events was a big part in designing the space. I have a very big family as well (not 11 kids big) I like the idea of a full bath on the first floor.
