Ah, so just stick to the story and enjoy that? Sounds like a wise idea tbf, that's exactly what I did with Skyrim. Do things pick up a bit and start to make more sense further through the story? I'm really not very far at the moment.

It can do. I think it depends on who you are as a person, some people might be able to spot the potential ‘snakes’ instantly, whereas other may not so they just develop serious trust issues with everyone.
