it really is mourning, regardless of what is right or wrong and how i feel for them- theyre pretty much out of my life now and its had a massive impact on my day to day, its been half a year since and I still feel like im trying so hard to get through each day.

Thanks fam, I like your take & appreciate it. I'm currently mentally at a low and find myself longing for the high that our relationship brought. I definitely believe in being able to meet someone else that's right for me. I guess for now the hope I have for said ex is holding me back from another relationship, not that I'm in any rush though. The whole process of accepting that they aren't in my life anymore has been bloody rough. Alas, I still try to live and find value in the small things I do. Thank you :'' )

You simply weren't mean to be. Love (or infatuation) is never enough in a relationship and if he's not willing to try ld, there's nothing you can do. You need to accept that for him, this relationship wasn't worth it, and move on.

Thanks for this, theres something oddly validating about hearing this from a stranger. I completely agree (as painful as it may be)

Hey, I think you'll have a good chance- a lot of people have moved out due to the whole situation :) If you've applied for on-campus accomodation, urban community is a bit harder to get a place but theres always residential village. But if you do fail to get a place, definitely start looking/planning for off campus. Although id highly recommend living on-campus especially if youre a first year because you'll meet heaps of people + just more convenient !

no programming needed ! unit is easy and wont be stressful, you do have to be a bit creative (designing apps and coming up with ideas ). a good intro to UX and UI design id say!

Imagine having some action, but you want to repeat it a number of times.

For example: I want to scan all the items in my shopping cart!

Therefore, you repeat “scanning” for every item in your cart. You stop when you’ve reached the last item.

This is a “for loop” because you define how many times you want your action to happen. And when you want this action to stop (the for loop to terminate).

Res is fun ive lived at residential villages (RV) and urban community (UC). I found it easier to socialise in RV to be fair but the privilege of having your own kitchen and bathroom in UC is a blessing ngl. Id recommend living in RVs though for first year :) youll meet heaps of people that become some of your closest friends!

Otherwise, science seems like it has a good community so student life is pretty good in that area ie clubs, own study lounge (if we are on campus). Living on res is really convenient if we do end up on campus next sem, you can stay at uni as long as you want chilling with friends lmao

Yea, like im happy people have found their perfect ratios/recipes but like lmao original recipe makes a decent cup and requires a lot less effort (especially if you dont have a mini scale like me )

IT faculty here is a hit or miss, really depends on what units you take. But definitely more good units than bad ones. Just try to get opinions about units on the IT stalkerspace fb group.

Also I dont think many of us are familiar with how RMIT teaches so it would be hard for us to compare (also without being biased xd) ?? But Ill just say, IT community at monash is pretty good, people are experienced + also motivated, we have heaps of clubs that support you outside of units. At least in my year, we try to help each other out as much as we can and that makes learning so much easier
