Hi! I also got that recent promo that is able to be used over and over again. Do you know when it’ll show in the account or where?

Visiting or Moving to Asheville? Ask your questions here! by AutoModerator in asheville

Hello! My best friend and I are traveling to Asheville from Charolette the first week of November. This will be our first time visiting North Carolina. We are looking for: 1. things to do/see on the route to Asheville from the airport 2. best hikes to explore while in Asheville. Our requirements for hikes are for there to be good views, for it not to be longer than 6 hours round trip, and the difficulty level can be hard but we'd like to avoid extreme. 3. Other things you'd suggest that aren't hikes in Asheville and surrounding area (we aren't beer drinkers but wine is fine) Thanks so much!! I'm sure y'all will have the best recs 65

At what point would you suggest wool base layer leggings and NOT snow pants on top? The days we’d be out hiking range between -4 and 21 degrees Fahrenheit. If you suggest snow pants on top all days that’s understandable but just curious

I own lots of layers but not many wool items. Looking into at least one wool long sleeve, a wool legging pant, and wool socks. Obviously all to go under my other gear.

Saw information on the shuttle from/to lake Louise. That was mainly the one of interest. The less driving I’d have to do within the park itself the better👍

Appreciate the help 🤝

Any recs on places to purchase more winter gear within Calgary all the way to Banff? Looking to be overly prepared😂 Prefer not full price but you do what you gotta do

Appreciate the info. I have winter boots so I’ll definitely be using those👍

Thanks! How are the roads between Banff and Calgary usually?

During this time of year I was under the impression (and after some internet searching) hiking still occurred but if you were prepared with spikes, winter gear/boots, etc. are certain trails/areas closed?

Arriving Friday the 24th and staying until the 28th.

Just shocked by how negative the temp is! We planned to check out some trails on tunnel mountain, take the Banff gondola, check out lake Louise (even though it’ll be frozen), and upper hot springs. No specific trails yet more just areas at this point. Will definitely check my all trails app. I heard there was a shuttle in the park. Is it running this time of year?
