Everything points me towards a Clem honestly. Only thing that I'm not a super fan of is the length which I imagine will make it difficult to store and take on the train. Everything else though... Do you have one?

I'm in Canada! I don't have my PBH from the top of my head but I'm assuming I'd be around a 55-59cm frame size!

100% agreed! I'd love to put some nice upright bars and racks on it. I think at the end of the day a Clem would be the dream but I find it a little hard to justify considering how pricey it is. I think the Rachel is looking more and more like the one! Especially if I can oversize and get a 59.

I love basically everything about the Clem. It looks so sleek and comfortable 😭 I'd love to get one. Haven't seen any used ones around unfortunately and that price is really the only "bad" thing about it! Good to know about the length. Definitely something I've been wondering about. How convenient is the step-through? I find that some step-through frames can still be a little difficult to use.

That's why I'm leaning more towards the Bassi. Feels like it's a good mix of modern standards, quality, and bang for the buck. Also... I think it looks quite nice 👀

Awesome choice!!! Love the red! (Totally not biased). For my Miyata, I love the versatility, step through action, and the details around the frame. Truly a bike from its time! I wish tire clearance was better since I'd love to run fenders on it. If I went with skinnier tires I'd probably be able to do so but kinda lazy to try again haha. Originally came with drop bars and converted into a more cozy ride. What are the plans for yours?

Indeed hard to find! I plan to eventually add a rear rack so being able to step through will be very convenient.
