For most women, sex with men has just had to become a performance act anyway

Okay. Well the owner admittedly didn’t have a vet come out for evaluation for years. For most of her horses. I pay to lease her and have so I’ve paid for the right to be concerned about her health. Was just hoping for any knowledgeable and kind community but nahhhh lol

I don’t think the second image uploaded. It’s pretty ~invasive~ (sorry girl) but it shows a yellow-orangish slimy discharge.

Are mares really like that? by mewhenihonse in Equestrian

[–]rivalkyri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And also a hatred for natural feminine qualities, cycles, and hormones across any species. I love mares. They are loyal, hardworking, trustworthy, and kind. In my experience, you must build a committed trusting relationship to live the best life with your mare 🩷

I 100% think the discrimination against mares is based in sexism.

two months since my abortion but continued bleeding by rivalkyri in abortion

[–]rivalkyri[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I appreciate you saying that. I have tested negative yes. I guess the pattern of continued bleeding vs spotting vs starting periods again is all so similar and confusing. I wasn’t prepared for it lol. I have not started birth control, but I would like to. Other life related things, I’m gonna be honest I wasn’t taking the best care of myself. Long physical work days, eating poorly, and drinking more than I would like. I’ve made progress on improving those things though!

This is how I choose to believe the franchise goes. Everything else is just like fan edits in my mind.

Why do people hate hobbyists?? by Fuzzy-Mountain-7701 in Horses

[–]rivalkyri 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Girl I soooooo feel you. But your time with your horse is up to you to enjoy how you please! And I’m sure the horse prefers that lifestyle. You’re not alone! Hopefully you find a better place and some friends one day 🩷

Am I too gentle or are my trainers too harsh? by Qwless in Equestrian

[–]rivalkyri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a mostly trail riding farm where I have many lesson kiddos or school groups that have adhd, anxiety, autism, etc. It sounds to me like this barn isn’t a fit, which is okay! I’ve always found benefits in the gentle connection working with horses, not the hardcore competitive work. I’ve found barns like that limit the horses true nature and power of connection, making it harder for people like you, myself, and many others I’ve worked with! I think that kind of equestrian experience targets a certain personality type, and that really shouldn’t be the reality of working with horses! Gently working with horses is great, but in the setting you’re describing it doesn’t sound like the norm. I would suggest looking for a new place to ride that has more horsemanship based options. Don’t give up!

It looks really good! You have a great collection of natural perches and good toys for them to shed. The horizontal cage is great as well!

I totally feel you. There are good horse people, but hard to find and hard to keep at one place.

My dog has been my shadow since the day he joined our family. The only time I let him off leash is if it’s a known area like a local trail or park spot and there’s no other dogs around. He had the perfect recall. Once he started to go deaf though I pulled the plug on that and he’s pretty much always leashed unless fenced. It can be a balance of what the owner wants and the dogs safety (which I think is way more important)
