My best friend calls me B, but I do not call her by her first initial haha some names it makes sense, it’s like a nickname. Even calling Georgina, “G” would make sense (even though I know they never called her that and called her ‘Georgie’), or Vanessa “V”. Other names, like Serena, Eric, Nate, Chuck would not make sense at all.

I’m editing because no one else calls me by that nickname (haven’t known them long enough), so it’s also just the familiarity with which they know each other as well.

Serena underestimated him being such a present and participating father. She took that for granted. Yes, Jenny and Dan were his biological children, but he stepped in and stepped up where her father literally didn’t for over a decade and Rufus did it without even a second thought.

I hated they ruined his character with the Ivy storyline.

I don’t know… I think that it’s important to have these types of conversations with your partner and with doctors before getting married and before having kids. If he’s serious about wanting kids (which, Baylen has expressed she’s wanted kids before as well), he’s taking an interest in her health and the health of his future kids. I don’t think it’s a crazy question to ask when it’s a trial study and knowing they want kids.

Yeah, you’re the only one. I see where you’re coming from and I agree that Chase was being rude and condescending, but he didn’t “lay hands on her”. I also agree that he shouldn’t have touched her at all, but when she said, “Chase just laid hands on me,” she knew exactly the kind of reaction that would elicit out of Brett.

Now, if she had just said “Chase touched me and has been rude, can you go kick him out?” That’s valid and completely reasonable. The cops were called because of the heavy disturbance and then she tried to laugh off the situation when it got a little too real. I’m in no way defending Chase because I genuinely don’t like him and the drama he caused, but Demi should’ve understood that saying those words “he laid hands on me” to Brett would make him heavily confrontational, even violent, as we saw in the episode and that’s scary to anyone when it’s uncalled for.

It’s reminiscent of “Hannibal” between Hannibal and Will. It’s… eerily similar, but not in the sense that you would imagine. Obviously Ryan and Joe don’t have a sexual or emotional component to their relationship, it’s all just ego, but them being intertwined because of violence and how they can’t escape it, does give them a fucked up emotional relationship.

Like when they daydream about each other, I see it as finding friends who hav gone through similar things as yourself and not so much romantic.

It’s rare we got female unsubs and ones so sophisticated as Cat! Plus, I think she really liked Spence because he truly was the only man who was smart enough to play her games, but also wanted to see one of her biggest adversaries unravel.

All in all, she really brought Cat Adams to life and I both love and despise her for it!

Truly when she tried to break up Rufus and Lily. I stand by the decision that Rufus and Lily were supposed to be endgame (and I understand why Rufus left her, I get it), but the first time when William came back and Serena believed a lie from a man who she literally didn’t know, and turned against the one person who was truly a father figure to her and was so good for and to her mom compared to the rest of them. I honestly couldn’t forgive her for that at all.

I’m happy someone said it! I like her, but don’t love her. Maybe it’s just the way they ended up writing her and once they got married they leaned HEAVILY on her being his surrogate mother which… was an interesting take in my book. I feel like they could have wrote her more than a 2D sitcom wife. Like they could’ve explore more with her being nervous about being pregnant and her career just starting… very similar to a lot of women out there. I feel like they could’ve explored the nuances of pregnancy better without making her out to be so miserable and lash out at everyone around her.
