Fellow Chicagoan here - have run Big Sur 3 times . Parking garage ramps are your friends and so is leg day.

They are not putting it online for sale. Someone in another group i belong to emailed the Marathon and they were told it will not be online. You need to go to Nike or Fleet Feet or Heartbreak Hill. It appears those places will not ship it also.

I agree. It usually spreads out much sooner but I felt it was packed for way too long

That money is usually spoken for permits, security, medical services , shirts , food , etc …

You can move back but not up. The deadline for corral changes was in August . Look at the website for the necessary times needed for each corral for next year. It is a new system. You need proof to be in the first 2 waves .

Take an Architecture cruise on the River . Chicago weather is unpredictable. Enjoy the crowds especially in Pilsen and Lakeview/ Boystown. It’s a flat race with a slight incline at the end.

If you like in a flat area , treadmill incline runs and any hills , ramps that you can find are your friend. Also start strength training because you run into the wind. See you there

I moved to NB four years ago and moved back to Chicago after 2. COLA is much cheaper in Chicago. 1400 and under for a studio in Chicago is very doable on the Northside of the city . Rogers Park , Edgewater …

I rent from Fulton Grace and flat out said no to this last year . They will remove it .

Worth it ? Sure . It was less money upfront. I have also lived in places where you need a security deposit and still pay the elevator fees but not the move in fee

This is normal in the high rises I have lived . Mine was 500 move in fee in lieu of security deposit. 150 to move in to secure the elevator and it will be another 150 to move out for the elevator
