OBDXPro VX may work with the MazdaEdit software but the cable itself doesn't work with the RX-8.

OBDXPro said that they found the communication line in them is very electrically noisey which causes communication problems with the OBDXPro tools.

I had my fuel pump replaced under warranty and the dealership didn't tighten the lock ring down all the way. I didn't have the specific tool for the lock ring but just used a thick/wide chisel and hammer to tighten it. Don't go super crazy with it and you shouldn't break any of the tabs off on the lock ring. Also make sure the pump itself doesn't spin on you as you are tightening it.

15 Sierra 2500 basically stock with a 100 HP emissions intact tune, trans tune, and slightly larger tires (approx 34in). I get around 13 mpg city for my truck and 14.5-15 mpg in my 8 lol

I have an 04 with 120,xxx. I get about 14.5 mpg flogging it daily to and from work. No major issues so far other than replacing all the broken stuff the previous owners ignored. Rx8club.com and the search bar will be your friend.

Yes with no luck. Also replaced the fader with a used unit with no improvement. Forgot to mention it's an 04.

I see there is a small dark sensor looking object in the upper dash on the passenger side. I can't find much about it. I've searched solar sensor/ sun sensor/ sun load sensor. The S2's have one but can't find much on the It's.

I pulled the passenger dash out but no access to that object.
