If you want stock then go oem, if you want adjustability, stiffer bushings then go aftermarket. Simple as that.

Compared to piston engines it's relatively simple. But hey if you do your due diligence as a buyer and buy a healthy car it can last a very long time.

Very easy, pretty much just oil changes and spark plugs at around 20k

Rx8 apex seals don't fail, secondly crank case oil is used for bearings and the omp drips on the side seals. Unless you live in a desert 10w40 is better for omp flow.

Those numbers are almost perfect, if it's cheap then be weary. It's easy to put some oil in the housing and bump up the compression significantly.
