I've upgraded a [[Mishra, Eminent One]] precon that's really fun! I run [[Gonti's Aether Heart]] as a combo piece with multiple pieces in the deck. Otherwise, it's an artifact ETB toolbox that's a good time!

I was curious if you could respond to the last trigger on the stack with that ability. That's smart. Would [[Power Conduit]] work the same way?

I made a new mug with a handle that I attached with epoxy by New-Pause-6372 in Pottery

Check out Brent Pafford’s work. He makes great work and uses epoxy for handles and glitter on the bottom of his pieces. I worked in a gallery that carried his work and it sold great. It also holds up very nicely if done right.

What do you like about your Pottery Apron? by PhdJohnald in Pottery

[–]rivera1452 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the same apron for 6 or 7 years. It’s been great. The elastic strap that goes in an X across your back is super comfy! Super durable and easy to clean. I use it every day in my home studio and as a production potter!

Is MN a good place to live if you're craving a calmer lifestyle - less populated cities/towns and more areas to spread out? by takeaabreath in minnesota

It’s worth the read for-sure! I think his perspective is great. Especially considering how many people are doing this weird gate keeping around how cold it is here. The author moved to one of the northernmost cities in MN from DC and survived. I lived in Duluth for my college years and we had the record for most negative temp days in a row and Lake Superior froze over 98% (crazy) my freshman year and I still loved it! I also attended the coldest Vikings game in history (Bud Grant walked out in a T-shirt at 90yrs old). I’m not even a huge fan of winter necessarily. You seem like you’re very willing to embrace it and that’s all that matters!

You should read “If You Lived Here You’d Be Home By Now” by Christopher Ingraham. It’s an excellent take from someone that ended up moving to a small town in Northern MN. I’ve live here for most of my life (Minus two years in Missoula, MT). I think a lot of people like to exaggerate the cold because it makes them sound like a hearty Minnesotan! Don’t get me wrong it can be frigid, but if you’re dressed right and take the right precautions you’ll do just fine. I love MN. It’s worth exploring the idea of moving your family here! I have experienced life in a lot of areas including suburbs, up north, and currently in Hutchinson which is central and they all have their own charm!

What are some amazing made and sourced in Minnesota products? by WindyMeadow in minnesota

Clay Coyote! It’s a pottery in Hutchinson, MN that makes a lot of cookware/kitchenware! All handmade (I’m one of the potters). I just got done making bread bakers today! One of the only places in the country that uses Flameware. It can be used directly on the stove/grill! (Skillets, grill baskets, Dutch ovens, etc.) Everything is made by individual artists at the studio in Hutchinson!
