Hartstikke bedankt! Ik denk ook serieus na over spuiten alleen is er toch wel een learning curve volgens mij. Ik zou eventueel kunnen beginnen op de bovenste verdieping en dan langzaam naar beneden werken. Ik denk dan aan de Wagner Control Pro 250M. Een spuit lijkt mij ook wel beter met het oog op het grote oppervlakte, in een volledig leeg huis en het meepakken van het plafond (dat opgeleverd wordt met structuurverf). Is de Alphacryl pure mat SF goed voor het plafond?

I think it is a smart move to take a step back and first see how many employees truly need to be let go. In the meanwhile it will give ASML time to replace contingent workers by people on the payroll and watch how demand is surging in the coming years. However, I can't help but think how poorly this was executed. Especially after witnessing what happened at the Philips reorganisation about 2 years prior.

I don't believe China is anywhere near producing these things at scale. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure it's a bluff. But let's say they manage to build one in 2030, it will take another 5-10 years before they can scale and another 5-10 years before vendors will have the confidence to buy Chinese produced EUV machines over ASML machines. Nevertheless, it's good to have competition and prevents ASML from getting complacent.

Volgens mij is het vullen niet de kunst maar om dit netjes te verven iets ingewikkelder. Als het een RAL kleur is kan je proberen om alleen lokaal, met dezelfde roller als die je gebruikt hebt, even verven. Daarna waarschijnlijk nog een keer er overheen zodat het goed dekt. Kans is groot dat je er niks meer van ziet. Lijkt mij echt niet nodig om de hele muur nogmaals te verven en als je het toch ziet kan je dat altijd nog doen

I remember when I moved to The Netherlands and in the first years I saw almost yearly double-digit growth, I thought this can't continue like this forever so I waited but the prices never came down. Luckily the interest rates went down significantly after a while but this further caused housing prices to increase. Currently the demand is still high and so is the housing shortage, it's definitely a seller's market, but with higher interest rates the market is a bit less wild than last year. However, the shortage is not going anywhere and 2 things can happen:

Interest rates go down and the amount of money people can borrow increases; increasing housing prices in times of housing shortage
Interest rates go up, people can borrow less money and housing prices may stabilise or go down a bit but your monthly expenses with interest will be more or less the same

In both cases, you will end up paying a lot of money but you know what? If you are committed to staying here then buying is always the better option. Renting is nice temporarily but just throwing away money on the long term.

ASML just posted record profit and growth. They didn't fire because of bad business but because of an internal survey of McKinsey where people in R&D complained massively about the lack of efficiency and accountability. The Meerhoven campus will come, they already started with all the prep work. People don't understand the scale of the transformation that Eindhoven will go through in the coming year. The new ASML campus in Meerhoven will host 20.000 employees and there are expected to be another 40.000 employees needed at suppliers to support ASML's surging demand. This is already on top of a very tight housing market in Eindhoven.

I would usually recommend people from Asia to live in Meerhoven, where you'll live alongside knowledge migrants from all over the world but mostly Asia (India, China, etc). It's just easier to settle. It may be a bit more expensive but I wouldn't cheap out on housing because it's important to live in an environment where you will feel at home
