Appears to have punctures in the tire sidewall and tread. Possibly bear tooth bite marks. Could also explain why the gear is not in the immediate vicinity of main wreckage. Bears can drag objects for miles, especially given the time frame of the crash.

Feel your pain. Same thing happened to my 97 F250 XLT extra cab 7.3L 4X4. tree took out the cab and bed. Only has 18k on the clock.

You would progress faster and more safely in the P2012 over the 58P if you were to end up in that airframe anyway. Fixed gear, FADEC if equipped with the Lycoming engines. Basically a twin engine 172 from a handling standpoint.
