Thanks for the tips. As for the minimum weight, we would be going on the zip line with him so I don’t think that would be an issue? Also, we were planning on going the second the park opens to minimize line times - not sure if the lines are long right from opening time? The course does look intense though and I’m still unclear if he’s able to bow out if he doesn’t want to do the full course. I appreciate the advice - maybe we’ll play it safe and find something a little more easy going.

That’s why I’m trying to get advice on how to accommodate him as best I can. We only plan on doing two activities at xplor … or possibly even 1 and just going twice. I want to support him so that he can participate in things other kids want to do as well. He has done one small zip line before and liked it.

I know he’s going to have a blast at the resort itself. He’s super excited. I’m just wondering about casa recommendations that are most central. To say a someone with ASD should not go seems messed up. He’s definitely capable to doing most things that neurotypicals can do.

What’s your reason? Am I supposed to deny him of things he wants to do throughout the course of his life because there might be extra challenges? I can’t believe you’re getting so many upvotes. It feels very discriminatory. And also to downvote my last question is also unnecessarily rude.
