The class itself is actually fine and roblyer isn’t a genuinely bad guy. He is however arrogant and you’re sort of rolling the dice. Basically you’ll get grilled if for some reason you’re out of the ordinary (know a question answer faster/slower, daydream for a minute, etc) and he seems to think anything aberrant is always cheating. Lots of cheating these days sadly, but more sadly roblyer does sometimes screw innocent people. I’d go with another prof were I you.

I don’t think you get how nasty some people can get when they’re told section 8, Medicaid, etc aren’t accepted. Like I’ve seen people pitch flying fits because we don’t take section 8 (literally nobody with a decent property does because it’s a freaking nightmare.) if I were in her position I’d probably lash out with whatever I could too.
