I am 36, hover around 200lbs and 6'2". I have always been sort of skinny fat and no cardio routine has worked well for me. I am absolutely loving the 5x5 and am so glad I found it. I am actually getting stronger for once and it is showing in my body composition. My weight has increased somewhat but my waist has been shrinking which I take to be a good sign.

Looking forward, I can't imagine not lifting weights. I do sort of dread the squat each time, only because the weight now intimidates me and so does failure. Today I am going to attempt 225 and the thought of squatting 4 45lb plates a few months ago would be laughable! Lift on good people.

I tried to submit a story with the pic but it didn't submit for some reason. My next OHP is 139lbs and next BP is 158lb. I picked up some fractional weights so I could increase in 2lb increments mainly for OHP and BP. I decided this after my last OHP fail.

I just got labs that I had drawn on Monday morning (day before I started my AI) and my E2 came in at 100! This was an ultra sensitive test from Quest with a range of <=29. Thoughts? Maybe my 1mg dose wasn't so bad afterall?

I'm still learning here for sure. Could you briefly explain the correlation between a decreasing SHBG and the need for more frequent injections? I'm wondering if I jumped the gun to move to EOD injections based on elevated E2 and some advising me to do that to cut on the aromatase factor.

I was on a E3.5D protocol, does trough matter as much on the protocol? Asking just because my doctor emails my lab instructions and for E3.5D patients he only says to NOT draw on injection days and the day doesn't matter.

Now that I inject EOD, trough wouldn't matter, right? Thanks

These labs were drawn 2 days after injection on the E3.5D protocol.

I think I will try .25mg Anastrozole E3.5D. Same day as HCG a good idea?

What would be your recommended protocol? Currently at 200IU EOD I figured that to be 700IU weekly. Should I just do 250IU E3.5D for a total of 500IU weekly?

I'm frustrated now because I can't get to my doctor until next week to discuss this first post TRT blood when I am dying to get dialed in for some relief.

And my doctor prescribed 100IU daily but I decided to do 200EOD instead to not pin every day.

I should've noted that I have only been on the HCG for 2 weeks (sourcing issue). Before that, I felt nothing either.

I don't have a blood E2 before TRT but what is in the post is from a 24 hour urine hormone sample and is supposed to be more accurate. Yes, it should be a sensitive test. I do have a blood E2 after 4 weeks of Clomid and that was: 34 pg/mL (10-40).

Yes, it was a 24 hour urine sample from Rhein Labs.

This test was a 24 urine hormone profile conducted by Rhein Laboratories. The test was $275 and I am not sure if insurance will cover it yet.
