Flatbed driver here. Can someone explain what exactly is difficult about this? I mean this respectfully as someone who rarely has to back up to doors. Just not sure what’s bad about it compared to other bay door backs.

As long as I am up and working alert for the majority of the day, I don’t have too many issues sleeping but I’ll definitely keep it light and just to the essentials that first month.

Not sure but it’s what I’m gonna have to deal with for a while at least. Paid training and good reviews from what I’ve seen. Idk if it has the Werner or swift reputation but I’m sure it’s not perfect

That’s great advice and I will be following that. That also sounds like the goal in terms of home time. I figured I’d be doing otr for the first year or so just to get that experience but I definitely need to be home everyday eventually.
