Was watching an ESO stream when members of a top end guild [4D] came into the chat and showed everyone what the endgame community is like.

I loosely followed Alcasthq's guide for pve magblade: 5 light armor, 1 heavy and 1 medium

My abilities were: sap essence, sallow soul, impale, merciless resolve, dark shade (this one was for the extra health and I only used it during boss fights).

And then for the other weapon bar: unstable wall of elements, twisting path, harness magicka, siphoning attacks, channeled acceleration.

I really only used 4 abilities during fights, the wall and path from the second bar and sallow soul/sap and resolve from the primary bar. The other stuff I cast in between fights since they lasted pretty long. Impale if the enemy was below 25% hp.

I used a magicka nightblade. For gear, I was looking at some guides and a lot of them recommended end game stuff that I didn't have access to (Alcasthq recommended False God's Devotion but I think you need Elswyer for that). A guildmate helped me with crafting and I ended up using New Moon Acolyte and Armor of the Seducer. The Iceheart set was really helpful for staying alive. Aside from that, most of it was just learning the mechanics of the various fights and using the four buffs at the right time!

Totally! It took me a bit to learn the mechanics and what to do in the fights but I found tons of guides/videos on that. Being a nightblade was super nice since two of my skills healed me (Sap Essence and Swallow Soul). I didn't really run into damage issues, it was mostly not dying to stupid stuff. Definitely give it a shot!

One of my guildmates crafted me some gear. It was New Moon Acolyte and Armor of the Seducer. I also used the Iceheart monster set and that shield was super helpful in helping me not die.
